Intempo GX 01
The intempo GX 01 is the company’s first internet radio. It lets you tune in to over thousands of internet radio stations worldwide via Wi-Fi or LAN connection. Intempo internet radio offers access to thousands of internet and FM radio stations, providing wireless streaming of internet radio via Wi-Fi without the need for a PC.
The gx 01 have a long history of quality radio products and they’ve now turned their attention to internet radio. Unlike many of its rivals the intempo GX 01 internet radio not only uses Wi-Fi, the intempo gx 01 internet radio is main powered and has a built in alarm clock. There is a satisfactory 99 station memory that is accessed via the bundled remote control. The GX-01 is simple to set up and operate; it connects to the Internet through a wireless network or directly via the radio’s Ethernet socket. The radio will automatically scan for a network, once found follow the step-by-step instructions by scrolling through the intuitive menu. There is no software to install and you don’t even need to switch on your PC.

The LCD will display scrolling text with the name of the song and artist playing. The intempo GX 01 is access to on-demand content for some radio stations.
With the intempo GX 01 you can also opt to listen to your favorite music, either wirelessly from your PC or laptop over your home network or from a memory stick connected to the USB port. The intempo digital supports MP3, Real Audio and Windows Media Audio.
The memory station presets are impressive; you can store up to 99 favorite stations so you won’t lose the link for any far-flung webcasters you might stumble upon.

The GX 01 also featured a handy alarm clock facility, and when the device isn’t powered on the display has a large clock display which glows blue. Overall the GX 01 is a great unit that functions well and didn’t appear to suffer from technology crashing problems.
