26 DecNew Catholic Radio Station

As we all are aware radio has been a boon to many people who are not equipped with the televisions and other media sources. Not only this, there are many people who still are living with the radios and depending upon it. As now there are many new talk shows, news channels played on regular basis. One such new catholic radio station was launched on Thursday 17 December in phoenix; and thereby becoming 24th station of immaculate heart radio network in western United States.

Also, it has been known that it will be a channel of evangelization. According to the phoenix Business journal report; this new radio station which is broadcast at KIHP 1310-AM is the result of a five year effort and a way to bring catholic radio into the phoenix market. The radio station used by KIHP was price at 4 to 5 million dollars five year ago but now it was purchased for only 1 million as a result of recession which cased a lower asking price.

Doug Sherman, founder and president of immaculate heart radio station said to phoenix journal that it is for the first time that a catholic radio station has ever come to Phoenix. Also it is a channel of evangelization; channels for those who have no faith or have fallen away form the religious practice. It includes the stories like Catholics growing deeper in their faith; babies saved form abortion, strengthened families and instances of confirmed atheists bringing their family into the church.

The program will include a musical rosary aired at 7:30 a.m. at local time and the other two times during the day. The station will also broadcast 7hours of live talk-shows. And it will also rebroadcast the EWTN shows as The World Over and many more.

The radio station has been launched with a very good motive.
